I have seen mountians crumble, mere shadows of the giants of old.
Buildings collapse, their mighty figures no longer blocking out the sun.
These all happen in the span of a moment or a span of eons, and I am around to see it all.
When you're like me, life is like an jammed hourglass.
The sand if forever pouring, but never pouring at all.
A moment passes and the world changes, but I stay the same, frozen in an instant, watching the world go by.
Father Time and Death travel as a team, one taking away time, Death sweeping up the dust that's left.
But when they travel my way, each turns a blind eye. Because we have a deal them and I. A deal that cost me my soul, my very being, but I am not marred by the sands of time.
My flesh stays soft and full of life, my eyes bright and clear.
But underneath that, there are scars, wounds from years past.
They sear me like hellfire, the echos of the memories that haunt me as I sleep.
I may escape death and time, but virtue is always there, standing over my shoulder and whispering old wrongs in my ear, making me tremble, and cry out in the night, when the world is still and life does not stir.
But I can put that all behind me in the end, my conscience falls on deaf ears.
After all, I have constant life, and that is all I need.............isn't it?

Everyone wishes to live forever, but why? Your friends would've all died, and Death would just laugh at you when he takes away all your friends, everyone you're close to.

"I like Zebraz..."
"There's no 'e' in Zebra..."
And if you want to know what the whole Zebra thing is about, you'd have to be around me at about 3:00 in the morning. ^-^
